About Us
Dr. Jonathan Newton
Dr. Jonathan Newton is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician trained at Vanderbilt University and the University of Alabama. He has been treating patients since 2008 when he moved to work at Northside Hospital. 3 years later he opened his own clinic and has been an independent pain physician since then.
Dr. Newton has worked in the insurance arena and the personal injury arena for many Years. He has transitioned to only take injury cases in order to better focus on those patients injured and needing more dedicated treatment. Dr. Newton makes use of chiropractic therapy and physical therapy, medications, targeted injections in order to best achieve healing for the patient. He does believe in treating the whole body and frequently discusses lifestyle changes help with healing.
Dr. Newton is a native of England however has left in the United States since 1990 when he arrived to play soccer at Western Kentucky University. Unfortunately his playing days are well behind him, but he still loves to watch his 2 sons play soccer. The Newton family loves hiking and visiting National Parks, as well as hiking around the Chattahoochee locally. Caring for others runs in the family, Dr. Newtons wife, Dr. Brooke Newton, is a doctor of veterinary medicine in Cherokee County.

NASP uses a team approach to manage pain by directly communicating with your primary care physician, neurologist, surgeon, oncologist, physical therapist, and mental health professionals to integrate all aspects of multimodal therapy to create an individualized plan of care for each patient.
